My stay at Hyatt Regency Johannesburg had its ups and downs. The staff were super friendly and went above and beyond, especially when I needed a late check-out due to my knee issues. However, the noise from the reception was pretty disruptive, and the room definitely needs some upgrades, especially the bathroom. Overall, I felt that the hotel didn't quite live up to its five-star rating.

I really enjoyed my stay at Hyatt Regency Johannesburg, thanks to its friendly staff and convenient location. However, the rooms are in need of a significant upgrade, especially the bathrooms, and some of the amenities, like the toiletries, could be better. The shower in particular was tricky to use and a bit wasteful, which is surprising considering the local drought conditions.
